The Key: Small Actions with Big Impact<\/strong><\/p>

Energy efficiency does not rely solely on major technological investments. While modernizing systems and implementing renewable energy sources are essential, employees\u2019 daily behaviour makes a significant difference. Turning off lights and equipment when not in use, taking advantage of natural light, optimizing heating and air-conditioning use, and reducing paper consumption may seem like minor measures\u2014but when multiplied by hundreds or thousands of people, their impact is enormous.<\/p>

That\u2019s why it\u2019s important to remember and ensure compliance with Aernnova\u2019s Ten Commadnments for Energy Responsibility.<\/a><\/p>

A Culture of Energy Efficiency<\/strong><\/p>

During 2022\u20132023, Aernnova launched an energy awareness campaign for all employees with the goal of fostering a culture of energy efficiency.<\/p>

Aligned with this commitment, the company recently launched a new refresher training on energy efficiency<\/strong> to strengthen employees\u2019 awareness of the importance of adopting more sustainable and responsible habits.<\/p>

Heating Control System Using Temperature Sensors in Mi\u00f1ano<\/u><\/p>

Our heating systems still largely depend on fossil fuels such as natural gas\u2014a limited resource that significantly contributes to global warming. It is therefore essential to ensure efficient and responsible use, avoiding unnecessary energy consumption.<\/p>

At our headquarters, we are aware of this reality and have implemented an advanced temperature sensor system. Thanks to this technology, heating automatically starts and stops because it is adjusted to the outdoor temperature and various key points inside the plant. This system optimizes energy consumption by preventing unnecessary operation, thereby promoting a more sustainable and efficient model.<\/p>

In our production processes, the use of fossil fuels remains necessary for certain equipment, such as the heaters that warm the surface treatment tanks. However, optimizing their consumption is important to reduce energy waste.<\/p>

INTECAIR, our plant in C\u00e1diz, committed to improving energy efficiency, has implemented a system that regulates the operating time of the heaters. This way, the use of natural gas to heat the tanks is limited, instead of being in continuous operation with manual control.<\/p>
