Technologies have evolved throughout history providing undeniable positive progress to human beings. In recent years, technological evolution has accelerated significantly. The successful and efficient application of technology to industrial and business processes has become a key factor in competitiveness and differentiation, to the point of seriously threatening the survival of those companies that do not adopt new technologies in an appropriate and decisive manner. Asian companies that used to base their competitiveness on their lower labor costs have transformed and automated their activity to a great extent, and technology applied to processes is now their greatest competitive weapon.<\/p>

Automation is a key strategic line of Aernnova to improve the efficiency, quality and safety of our processes, both industrial and management.<\/p>

We are in a sector, the aeronautical , in clear development and innovation in this field. We start from many manual processes, which need a clear evolution. The high quality requirements, the necessary reduction of leads times or manufacturing cycles, safety and adaptability to changes are the inputs of our strategy.<\/p>

We have clear examples of success already implemented in Aernnova, the processes in Berantevilla and Evora of Takt Line and automatic riveting machines, Shot peening robots and automatic palletizing in CNC machines, Press forming in composites, automatic sealant application, robots for trimming and preform cutting. These realities, together with projects under development such as DIGIFORM in sheet metal transformation processes or Aerobotics for flexible automation in countersinking processes are driving us forward in this field. The great challenges are to find economically viable solutions for aeronautical programs (low cadence), either through low-cost projects or through flexibility, looking for multi-program or multi-product solutions.<\/p>

We cannot stay at the edge of this field of innovation; we need to continue proposing initiatives and allocating the appropriate resources to advance in solutions that make Aernnova different in the aeronautical sector.<\/p>
