To say generous, hard-working, courageous, talented and with an exceptional aptitude is an understatement when defining someone whom above everything else, has been a great colleague: Javier Fern\u00e1ndez de Retana<\/strong>.<\/p>

In my case, I have had the honor and privilege of working with Javier for the last six years and on the occasion of his retirement this December, I would like to express my affection and my absolute admiration for his dedication and for leaving a mark on the Aernnova Group that is difficult to surpass.<\/p>

Words fall short because all of you who have had the possibility and the luxury of meeting Javier, know the pleasant memories he leaves wherever he has the opportunity to be.<\/p>

An Industrial Engineer, Javier worked for Acenor and Nestl\u00e9 before becoming Director of the Alava Technological Park in Mi\u00f1ano (Vitoria), a position he held from 1998 to 2000. It was then that he started working as Managing Director of Fuselajes Aeron\u00e1uticos, SA, (now Aernnova Aeroestructuras \u00c1lava, SA). In 2001 he was appointed Operations Director of Aernnova and in 2010 Industrial Director. Since 2016 he has held the position of Manager of Institutional Relations of Aernnova.<\/p>

Throughout all these years, his great capacity, effort and attitude have contributed to what today is Grupo Aernnova.<\/p>

During his last position as Director of Institutional Relations, he has repeated time and time again “this is not my job, I am a more likely a production area worker”, but as we all know, he has done a commendable job.<\/p>

For many people, leaving their jobs after decades, always ready for whatever may come, is a somewhat dizzying stage. However, for others, the end of their working life comes with free time to enjoy everything that may have been put on hold. I am convinced that Javier will know how to make the most of his time with the same enthusiasm and dedication as he has done during all these years.<\/p>

Allow me to speak on behalf of all your colleagues in expressing our most sincere thanks for being a great colleague and friend, all best wishes for this new stage.<\/p>
