After 15 years working at Aernnova do Brasil, I can say that the decision to move to Spain has been one of the most enriching experiences of my professional and personal career. I’ve been in this new challenge for eight months now, and every day I confirm that it was the right choice. The opportunity to be in contact with such a diverse environment and work with highly experienced colleagues has been an incredible opportunity to learn and share knowledge.
The adaptation to the new work environment has been very smooth, largely thanks to the warm welcome I’ve received from my colleagues here in Spain. From day one, I felt like part of the team. Both management and the HR department have shown constant support, ensuring my integration was as smooth as possible. This backing has allowed me to focus on my work, confident that I have the support I need to overcome any challenge.
Personally, the experience of living in Spain has exceeded my expectations. Vitoria-Gasteiz, in particular, is a magnificent city. With its calm, quality of life, and welcoming atmosphere, it has quickly become a place where I feel not only comfortable but also happy. My family has been a fundamental part of this process, and we are thoroughly enjoying this new phase. Together, we share the excitement of discovering a new culture, new customs, and a different lifestyle, which has made the adaptation even more pleasant.
Furthermore, life in Vitoria-Gasteiz has been a constant discovery. Its slow yet vibrant pace, cultural offerings, and proximity to nature make it a very special place to live. Every day we discover something new to love about the city, which makes the transition from Brazil much easier. This experience has allowed us not only to grow professionally but also to enjoy an environment where we feel welcomed and happy.
I can’t stress enough the opportunity this move has represented for my career. Working in an international context like this, where collaboration and the exchange of ideas are essential, has broadened my professional horizons in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
I feel very fortunate to be part of Aernnova Aeroespace, a company that values the personal and professional development of its employees and is committed to providing opportunities like this. All in all, these three months in Spain have been an incredibly positive experience, both for me and my family. The opportunity to continue growing in such a stimulating environment, while enjoying everything this country has to offer, fills me with gratitude and enthusiasm for what’s to come.
