On Saturday September 21st it was held the Open Day of our company of machining and processing of elementary parts for the aerospace sector Aerometallic Tarazona, which was very well received. More than 600 people visited the company and it turned out to be a clear success.
Everything was possible thanks to more than 50 volunteers who, weeks before the event, took the time to carefully prepare the guided tour of the two factories, machining and treatments.
Writing the presentation scripts for the 12 stands of the tour, from the technical office, three-dimensional, Bavious-Zayer, assembly, warehouse, stop at the shot, penetrating liquids, tanks, paint and drying booths, identification and the last stop at the Quality and H&S intervention center. We prepared posters with explanations and photos of each process, prepared the route in the plant, organized the catering for the day, gifts for children and adults, drawing contest, activities for children with inflatables, face painting and handicrafts.
It was a great team effort. That day not even rain could spoil the illusion of the families and children who at each stop of the visit discovered the world of the aeronautical industry and heard from the voice of their relatives the processes in the manufacture of metal parts for aircraft.
“The factory is very big, much bigger than I imagined.”
“It’s a very clean and tidy factory, I was surprised by the large parts you make.”
We interviewed Iris Antón Martínez: “How old are you? 7. Who did you come to see today? My dad. What is your dad’s name and where does he work? His name is Pedro. And he works at Aerometallic. And what did you like the most? The paint booth. Oh right, because that’s where your dad works, isn’t it? Yes. Have you thought about what you want to be when you grow up? Yes, a baker. To eat a lot of cakes, good idea!”
