As you all know, and in spite of the great efforts made, Aernnova has had to take the difficult decision to cease the activity of Aernnova Andalucía Estructuras Aeronáuticas, our subsidiary in Seville, as a result of the insurmountable economic situation that the company has been dragging on. This is, undoubtedly, a decision that none of us would have wanted to take, but circumstances force us to do so. In this situation, we have the firm decision to enable the relocation of all the people who make up Aernnova Andalucia.

The geopolitical uncertainties and changes in international trade are forcing companies to review their strategies. To do so, in addition to financial sustainability, we must consider other issues such as (i) digitalization; (ii) the expectations of all those around us regarding the performance of our ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) strategy; and (iii) the need to attract and retain the best talent. As you will read in some of the articles in this new issue of ANNnews, Aernnova is making significant progress in this regard (Interview with Javier Herrero, VP Change Management & IT Grupo Aernnova; ESG Plan Aernnova Part II; and Aernnova committed to the professionals of the future).

However, to these three strategic priorities we must add two others that are the key to our success and that lie in all of us who are part of Aernnova: (iv) the degree of satisfaction of our customers, so that they continue to recognize the high value of our services and (v) excellence in our processes. You will find some evidence of this in the article dedicated to the awarding to Aernnova for the design of the wing and the design and manufacture of the FAS mobile surfaces of the HondaJet Echelon or the one about the closing of a new Lean cycle in Aernnova do Brasil, which will be followed by many others.

All these matters, and some more, are covered in this new issue of ANNnews, which, as always, I hope you enjoy.
