Ricardo Chocarro Melgosa – CEO Grupo Aernnova

If there is one thing that sets us apart from other sectors, it is the high quality requirements necessary in the aeronautical sector.
Excellence cannot be considered a goal to be achieved, but a habit that must be demonstrated every day.
At Aernnova we have been working since our origins to establish and improve our indicators. An achievement recognized by our customers is to have improved from almost 3,000 ppms to 200 ppms in the period from 2010 to 2024, as well as more than 10,000 hours of training in Aviation Safety, Human Factors and Quality Risks during the year 2024.
Our quality performance will largely determine our customers’ satisfaction, but the lack of quality has the power to drive you out of the market in the blink of an eye. A clear example is the events that occurred when the door of a commercial Boeing 737 of Alaska Airlines came off when the plane was in mid-flight which had a high reputation damage and on business.
To guarantee quality we must adhere, as we have always done at Aernnova, to scrupulously follow the acceptance process of the materials used, the manufacturing processes and procedures, and the training and qualification processes of the people. If this is fundamental at any time, it is even more so in the current scenario of growth and distortion in the supply chain.
Aernnova’s quality culture is recognized by continuous training, compliance with processes, open and transparent communication, as well as proactive participation in risk prevention and reporting.
Sincerely
Ricardo Chocarro Melgosa
