Airbus highlights the best performing companies in its supply chain at the Global Supplier Conference, recognizing “best in class” in three key categories: Operational Excellence, Sustainability and Continuous Improvement. This award recognizes Aernnova for outstanding industrial performance, specifically for performance improvement at Hamble. It was announced during the Airbus Global Supplier Conference held last October 29 and chaired by Guillaume Faury (CEO), Philippe Mhun (EVP Programs and Services), Alberto Gutierrez (COO) and Juergen Westermeier (CPO).
Airbus works with hundreds of suppliers around the world, many of them present at the conference, which provided an opportunity to hear from Airbus executives and exchange views on strategy and mutual business challenges and opportunities.
Paulo Mancilla, Managing Director of Hamble Aerostructures Limited, represented Aernnova at the conference.

This award is especially relevant for Aernnova, as in addition to highlighting our industrial performance, it enhances the company’s visibility and positioning in the Airbus ecosystem.
In the letter sent by Airbus to our CEO, Ricardo Chocarro, Juergen Westermeier (Airbus CPO) informed: “It is a great pleasure for us to inform you that Airbus has selected Aernnova to receive the Operational Excellence Award. This award recognizes your company for its excellent industrial performance. At our next meeting we will present you with the award as well as the corresponding diploma – congratulations on the award and for your continued commitment!“
