Excellence and Innovation

The pandemic has hit us very hard and has modified the rules of the game on many levels, but it has not changed two key factors of Aernnova’s past and future success: a relentless pursuit of Excellence and a continuous commitment to Innovation.

We are finishing 2021 and we want to innovate and improve our magazine ANNnews by releasing a new web format. Innovation must have a defined objective, and in the case of ANNnews it is to contribute to the purpose of this media: bring the reality of the group closer to all of us, making visible the work carried out by the different teams, intensifying communication and providing open and transparent information. We hope you like it.

More than a year ago the worst of uncertainties stroke us in the form of a pandemic. Fortunately, thanks to innovation and science, now we have vaccines that have proven their effectiveness and that are allowing us to return little by little to what we have been calling normality. In the aerospace sector, air traffic is recovering significantly fast on short-haul flights and more slowly on long-haul flights.

During these difficult times, Aernnova has not lost its focus on performance Excellence and our main customers are publicly recognizing it. Recently, Airbus, Boeing and Embraer have honored Aernnova by granting us several awards for our operational and service excellence, which place us on the first step of the podium of their supplier park. Congratulations to all of you for these recognitions.

During the pandemic, Aernnova has not lowered its guard on Innovation either. A very visible example is our significant involvement in the Heart Aerospace ES-19 electric aircraft project. Heart has entrusted Aernnova with the design of the fuselage, wings and empennage of its 19-passenger aircraft, which main feature is its 100% electric propulsion with zero emissions. In this project, and in others in which we also participate, we are proud to contribute with all the technological knowledge and experience of Aernnova to the sustainability of the future aviation, and consequently of the planet.

But Innovation is not just about big projects but also, and most, about looking for new ways of doing and improving our day-to-day tasks. The principles of Excellence and Innovation will help us achieving the operational objectives framed in the six strategic pillars that build the future success of the company.
